FOCUS is an acronym for Forum On Computing: Users and Services.
Brief history of FOCUS
The original (1996) FOCUS mandate is available
here.
The FOCUS mandate was changed at its 23rd

following the formation of
the LHC Computing Grid Project (LCG) Structure.
The FOCUS mandate was then modified (.pdf,

During its 32rd meeting on December 4th, 2003, FOCUS has decided to stop its activities.
Most topics previously discussed in FOCUS will be transferred
